Come celebrate this 24 year old community event with a special Summer Solstice evening at Don Mee Seafood Restaurant.

The Canada Dry Victoria Dragon Boat honours our leaders, feasting, music, culture and exciting canoes races in our beautiful city. We invite you to join us in the first part of festivities, starting with our Summer Solstice Community Feast.

Gender Requirements for Sterns and Drummers

FGPC and other festival producers in North America look to IDBF rules and regulations for guidance, but we remain the stewards and managers of our local races. Each club and producer maintains rules that are deemed fair and consistent for their communities and regions. In the matter of gender restrictions for steerspeople and drummers, FGPC does not require them to be of a specific gender for mixed and women’s crews.
